About
Marija Knežević
I’m a Croatian-born artist based in Liverpool, UK, working across traditional and digital media. My practice is centred on landscapes, architecture, environments, objects and imagined worlds, often exploring atmosphere, place and visual storytelling.
Originally self-taught, I returned seriously to painting in 2018 and have since developed a body of more than 300 works. Working primarily in watercolour alongside acrylic, oil and digital media, I combine traditional techniques with an increasingly digital approach to world-building and environment art.
I am currently studying 3D Game Art, expanding my practice into digital environments, visual development and the creation of immersive worlds.
